Types Of Care We Are Experts In

Sick Care

Throat pain is irritation of the throat and can be treated in clinic or at an urgent care. Whether it is viral or bacterial, seeing a provider to treat your symptoms.

Strep throat is an infection in your throat and tonsils caused by a type of bacteria called group A Streptococcus (group A strep). Strep throat causes severe inflammation and a sore throat. A healthcare provider can typically diagnose the condition with a rapid strep test or a throat culture.

Respiratory illness symptoms include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, congestion and share symptoms with the common cold.

Symptoms include runny nose, sore throat, coughing, sneezing, headaches, along with slight aches and pains.

Bronchitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the bronchial tubes, the airways in the lungs that carry air to and from the lungs. This inflammation can cause coughing, often with mucus production, and other symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, fatigue, chest discomfort, and fever.

Influenza, also called flu, affects the lungs, nose and throat. It is spread from person to person through respiratory droplets. Most people with the flu get better on their own. But influenza and its complications can be deadly to some people, including young children and older adults.

Sinusitis, also known as rhinosinusitis, is an inflammation of the sinuses, which are small air-filled spaces in the forehead and cheekbones. This inflammation can be caused by a viral infection, bacteria, fungi, or allergens, and can block the sinuses so mucus can’t drain properly. Symptoms include thick nasal mucus, plugged nose, facial pain, pain/tenderness and swelling around the eyes, cheeks, nose & forehead. Runny nose, drainage down the back of the throat, bad breath or loss of smell, cough, fatigue, fever, headache, sore throat and postnasal drip.

Most bites cause mild stinging or itching. Some bites can trigger a life-threatening allergic reaction that requires emergency care. Breathing difficulty, facial swelling, dizziness, confusion, and hives are symptoms of such a reaction.

Allergies, also known as allergic diseases, are various conditions caused by hypersensitivity of the immune system to typically harmless substances in the environment. These diseases include hay fever, food allergies, atopic dermatitis, allergic asthma, and anaphylaxis.

Urgent cares can treat 1st and 2nd-degree burns and the severity of your burn can depend on its size. Symptoms of 1st and 2nd degree burns include pain, redness, swelling, blotchy skin, swelling, blisters and/or drainage.

Dehydration can have causes that aren’t due to underlying disease. Examples include heat, excessive activity, insufficient fluid consumption, excessive sweating, or medication side effects.

These are just a few of the common ailments we treat at our location. If an injury, illness or concern you have is not life-threatening, but cannot wait until the next day. Urgent Care is available for you to be seen at immediately.

Health Tests

Rapid strep, flu, mono, urinalysis, HCG, H-Pylori, pregnancy & more!

Single body or multiple body part x-rays are available, along with EKG’s.

Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) often start when bacteria get into the tube through which urine leaves the body, the urethra. Most UTIs involve the lower urinary tract, which includes the bladder and the urethra. Symptoms can include a strong urge to urinate that doesn’t go away or a burning feeling while urinating.

Virtual Urgent Care

Visit with a healthcare specialist on your computer, tablet or smartphone. No drive time, no waiting room, no need to leave home. Patients may be any age; however, if under 18, a legal guardian must be present at the time of the virtual urgent care visit.

Work/School Tests

During a sports physical, a thorough physical exam of your athlete will be performed, including heart, lungs, and abdomen to make sure he or she doesn’t have any physical limitations, like uncontrolled asthma, recent surgeries, or a hernia that might affect his or her ability to play safely.

A 5-Panel employment test looks for five commonly abused substances.

A 10-Panel employment test looks for ten commonly abused substances.

A chest x-ray can be used to diagnose tuberculosis (TB) disease, also known as pulmonary TB, which is the most common form of TB. A chest x-ray can show abnormalities in the lungs, such as cavities or infiltrates, that may indicate TB.

Urgent Care

Urgent care is for illnesses and injuries that need immediate attention, but are not life threatening. This could include things like suspected broken bones and sprains, minor burns, rashes and cuts. Or injuries suffered during physical activity.

Urgent care centers are often a good option for minor broken bones, especially if the injury is not severe and is not in a compromising location. Urgent care providers are trained to treat common fractures and can quickly diagnose and treat the injury.

You can get prompt treatment for a cut at an urgent care center. The medical professionals there offer different services, including stitches for all wounds such as cuts, lacerations, and animal bites.

Our urgent care facility is equipped to handle cases of severe dehydration and can provide an IV drip to treat your condition.

X-rays use invisible electromagnetic energy beams to produce images of internal tissues, bones, and organs on film or digital media. Standard X-rays are performed for many reasons, including diagnosing tumors or bone injuries.

An electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) is a quick, painless test that measures the electrical activity of your heart. It’s often used to diagnose arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats, and heart attacks. EKGs can also show how fast your heart is beating and the rhythm of your heartbeats.

Vomiting and diarrhea can have many causes, including viruses, bacteria, parasites, and certain foods or medications. Vomiting and diarrhea can lead to dehydration, which can be serious.

The three most common ENT infections are ear infections, strep throat, sinusitis. These infections are usually caused by viruses, germs and bacteria infecting the areas.

If an accident or fall should cause a broken bone with skin disruption, seek emergency care immediately. Most other sprains, strains or fractures can be safely treated at our clinic & urgent care location.

A sprain is a soft tissue injury of the ligaments within a joint, often caused by a sudden movement abruptly forcing the joint to exceed its functional range of motion. Symptoms include minor swelling, bruising, pain and decreased functional ability.

Urgent care is a good option for non-life-threatening cuts that can’t be treated at home but are too serious for a home treatment.

If you are experiencing breathing difficulties, you should seek immediate medical attention at an urgent care center or emergency room if you have any of the following symptoms.

  • Sudden and serious breathing trouble
  • Chest Pain
  • Signs of Infection
  • Dizziness, fainting, nausea, or a fever.
  • A cough, cold or other respiratory infection that has lasted longer than a week or is getting worse.

If you are a victim of sexual or physical assault and need a place to seek safety; urgent care is available for you. Our staff will see you are safely checked into an exam room and discuss next steps with you to seek care and available resources.

If you are not an established patient, one-time medication refills are available at the discretion of the provider on duty. You may be required to complete an examination prior to a prescription being filled or dispensed.

If an injury, illness or concern you have is not life-threatening, but cannot wait until the next day. Urgent Care is available for you to be seen at immediately.
